Travel a bit south to San Marcos and you can be under the care of some of the best physicians in the country. Eleven Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) physicians have been selected to the annual list of The Best Doctors in America for 2010-2011. This list represents the top 5% of doctors in the U.S., chosen based upon peer recognition and professional achievements.
Five of these physicians, along with four additional physicians, were named to the elite list of 2010 Texas Super Doctors, which is limited to 5% of physicians within the state.
“We are pleased to see the recognition given to these fine physicians from our Medical Staff,” said Clay DeStefano, CTMC Administrative Director, PR & Marketing. “But truthfully, we’re not surprised. Our physicians work hard to provide the very best health care and it’s only fitting they are being recognized as among the best in their field.”
